CONT, capa_name, contact_flag;

Activates or deactivates contact elements at comb and plate capacitances

  • Contact elements at comb and plate capacitances are automatically generated to prevent short circuits if the moving masses hit the fixed conductors.
  • Contact parameters are defined in the Simulation Settings window of the GUI.
  • Simulations are faster if contact elements at capacitances are deactivated. Contacts at stopper (STOP command) and z-motion limiters (ZLIM command) still exist.

Parameter Description
capa_name COMB or PCAP capacitance reference name
→ Alphanumeric name, has to start with a letter
→ If empty, apply the contact_flag to all capacitances
contact_flag Flag to activate or deactivate contact elements on capacitances
→ 1 OR true - Activate contacts (default)
→ 0 OR false - Deactivate contacts
